About Rebecca

Rebecca is the former CEO of Inland Rail and has held a diverse range of senior executive roles across technical, operational, strategic and corporate affairs disciplines in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Her experience spans both private sector and Government-owned corporations. With a career combining her engineering background with her strong valuing of community equity and sustainability, Rebecca has transformed the licence to operate of major projects and operating companies by listening and responding to community issues, finding common purpose and leaving positive community legacies. Rebecca is known for her engaging leadership style and has successfully led major project and business performance transformations. Drawing on her diverse executive career experience and authentic communication, Rebecca mentors and coaches leaders through key issues and transitions; supports teams to build a high-performance dynamic; and works closely with senior executives on defining and achieving their goals, particularly as they step into new roles or need to initiate or face major change. Supporting people to access enhanced performance and achieve their goals is Rebecca’s purpose, along with ensuring her clients understand and harness their strengths to make their professional lives both rewarding and fun.

Qualifications

Rebecca has a Bachelor of Chemical and Process Engineering from the University of Newcastle-Upon-Tyne in the UK and recently earned her Engineering Executive chartership from the Australian Institute of Engineers. Rebecca also has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Southern Queensland, majoring in Finance.Rebecca has held non-executive Board director positions since 2019 and is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors (GAICD). Rebecca is a trained mentor and holds Level 1 & 2 certification in Executive Coaching (Institute of Executive Coaching & Leadership).
